Open Post: Hosted By Gray, The Rescue Kitty Who Hogs All The Boiled Fish

When you hear “viral video of rescue kitties eating”, you might think “Awww!” Well, give it a 2020 twist, add some boiled fish, and two enemy cats named Gray and Cha Cha, and what you get is less cute and more pussy-on-pussy bullying.

Little Gray, the pink-collared boiled fish hog, was “dumped by an uncivilized human” in front of a home in Malacca, Malaysia. The poor little guy hid in a car engine for a whole week! But the moment Gray was rescued, he was very comfortable with his new owners. Too comfortable perhaps. Now that he’s feasting on a fishy smorgasbord every day, Gray’s never going back to the streets with an empty belly! And if that means he has to physically stop his foster sibling, calico kitten Cha Cha, from eating anything at all? So be it. Gray is king. It’s a real rags to riches morality tale.

I hope Cha Cha eventually found some yummy fish of their own. And Gray learns the value of sharing this Christmas season. Perhaps he needs to be visited by three ghosts; the Kitty of Christmas Past (obvs wearing a top hat [+ monocle?]), the Kitty of Christmas Present (donning a wee face mask), and the Kitty of Christmas Future (pussy in Grim Reaper drag). Somebody make that movie, please, I’m tearing up just writing the costume descriptions!
