As that Bride of Frankenstein reboot starring Angelina Jolie continues to collect dust in development hell, it was announced that A24 and Apple have joined forces to do a new take on it called Bride starring Scarlett Johansson. ScarJo will play the perfect wife, who was created by some rich mogul and later flees his ass to find her true self. Everybody’s probably phew-ing over ScarJo making a non-messy acting choice, but don’t be so sure that she won’t get into the writers’ ears like, “Hear me out, what if we make the bride an Asian transgender tree…”    – Just Jared
