Billionaire filmmaker Tyler Perry is so powerful he constructed his very own 330-acre Atlanta own film studio. Man is so rich he’s adding a private airstrip to his 35,000 square foot mansion. Dude is so prolific he’s written (by himself) and produced about 55 film and TV shows since 2002. One of those shows is the OWN primetime soap opera If Loving You Is Wrong. It follows five women on “their quest to find love in the midst of managing very complex lives.” And, if a recent clip that went viral on Twitter is any indication of the program’s quality, that shit is goddamn fucking bonkers.

II don’t want to spoil it for those who didn’t watch the clip yet, but MY GOD! I’ve been rejected with the ol’ “I don’t wanna ruin our friendship” bit, but never have I seen it so wielded so callously! Up until that out-of-nowhere twist, I was expecting a marriage proposal.
According to the If Loving You Is Wrong Wiki, this motherfucker is a womanizing missionary named Travis Cain. He’s rejecting his long-time girlfriend, Kelly Isaacs. Later in the series, he changes his mind and wants Kelly back. So he kills her new love interest, Ramsey, and frames her for the murder. Then he stalks Kelly until she’s forced to shoot him to death. She goes to prison, attempts suicide, and is finally released thanks to evidence that she acted in self-defense. So Travis? No good! But the man who plays Travis… does the name Denzel Wells ring any bells? No? HOW BOUT NOW:

Yep, it’s the same guy who was forced to wear a BEARD WEAVE on Tyra Banks‘ America’s Next Top Model. A beard weave so ridiculous and no-budget that Michael K. actually crowned it Hot Slut of the Day way back in September 2014. Too bad Denzel didn’t wear the iconic facial hairpiece on If Loving You Is Wrong. Then Kelly could’ve ripped it clean off his face the moment he rejected her.
