Katharine McPhee And David Foster Are Expecting Their First Child Together

Over two years ago, I wrote that 36-year-old Katharine McPhee and her 70-year-old husband David Foster were on the “fast track” to marriage and babies. And I thought, yeah – not a surprise that they’re hitting the fast-forward on baby-making. After all, David is entering the Ultramatic bed years of his life. As it turns out, that track wasn’t nearly as fast as reported. But People magazine is saying that Katharine is pregnant with their first kid.

Sources confirmed to People that Katharine McPhee is expecting a babee at the moment. This news goes along with some recent pictures of Katharine and her husband of two years out shopping for baby stuff, which showed Katharine looking pregnant. Not quite as pregnant as she was in the acclaimed film The House Bunny. I will take any opportunity to reference The House Bunny, regardless of how irrelevant it is to the story.

It’s not known how far along she is, which also means we don’t really know how long Katharine has to think of a name for that baby. Gosh, naming a baby is so hard! If she needs any help for something unique and personal, maybe she can go with Regrettable Donationné.

This will be Katharine’s first kid. As for David, he has been married five times and has five biological kids: Allison Foster (50), Amy Foster (47), Sara Foster (39), Erin Foster (38), and Jordan Foster (34). And I’m sure this is what every adult kid of a famous multi-millionaire wants, right? A reason to start calculating an inheritance six ways? But that baby is the one who’s got it rough. Their dad is rich and famous, but he’s also an oldie. That means there’s always going to be money for cases of Tiger Balm and Icy Hot for when dad hollers, “Kid, get in here and rub my back, would ya? My sciatica is acting up again.
