Ireland Baldwin Got Physically Attacked During A Mugging In A Parking Lot 

Ireland Baldwin, the 24-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, was involved in a scary and awful situation and she took to her Instagram to tell the tale. Ireland said she was mugged and assaulted by a woman who was high on drugs. And unlike when Ryan Lochte was held up at gunpoint, this actually happened.

Ireland told her 621,000 Instagram followers that last week, she was in a parking lot when she became the victim of a robbery that got violent. Ireland said that a woman who was “high out of her mind“ came up to her “desperate for cash.” Ireland didn’t mention exactly where she was attacked, but The Daily Mail says she’s currently living in Los Angeles. The woman punched Ireland in the face and made off with Ireland’s stuff, escaping in a getaway car driven by her husband.

Ireland said that she talked to the police and the suspects were later arrested. The cops said that this has been happening more and more since many have lost their jobs and homes due to the pandemic and it has pushed them to robbery. Ireland posted her story and pictures of her bruised face to let people know to “be really careful and watch your surroundings.”

Her stepmother, Hilaria Baldwin, commenting on her post with some words of support, via TooFab:

“I’m so glad you are safe now. We love you.”

Ireland was probably targeted because she was alone, but can you imagine if her dad Alec Baldwin was with her? It would’ve turned into a mixed-doubles parking lot slam down.
