Hot Slut Of The Day!

Billy Porter and Stephen Stills’ green screen extravaganza of a DNC performance!

Last night was night one of the Democratic National Convention, which went virtual this year, and while all the spotlights and eyes were on the night’s headliner Michelle Obama, Billy Porter and Stephen Stills also brought some star power to the grand finale. The two-time Hot Slut of the Month (I know, it is WRONG that Billy Porter is always a Hot Slut of the Month and never a Hot Slut of the Year) sang out Buffalo Springfield’s protest anthem For What It’s Worth in front of pictures from Black Lives Matters protests while done up like a cross between the preacher of a church for gay pilgrims and the true Supreme of American Horror Story: Coven. Some on Twitter called Billy’s performance “extra,” and those “some” need to be educated on the important subject of Billy Porter because if it’s not extra, it’s not a Billy Porter production.

Billy Porter released his cover of For What It’s Worth a few months ago, but he brought it out last night. AND HOW! Billy Porter answered the question, “What happens when Billy Porter and green screens get together?“, with a trippy performance featuring Buffalo Springfield founding member Stephen Stills. While wearing a dramatic judge ensemble that probably made Whoopi Goldberg melt with jealousy, Billy Porter busted out VOICE, MOVES, VOICE, and even more MOVES. There’s something happening here and it’s Billy Porter bringing thirty tons of THEE-TURR to the DNC!

Billie Eilish and The Chicks are also set to perform during the DNC this week, but if they’re not going to do themselves up like the High Priestess of Cater Waiters and pull out some “aunt when her jam comes on” moves, they shouldn’t even bother!
