Stassi Schroeder Of “Vanderpump Rules” Got Dropped By Her Publicist And Talent Agency After More Racist Commentary Came Back To Haunt Her (UPDATE)

Stassi Schroeder got retroactively fucked this week. Stassi, who’s on Vanderpump Rules, was accused of racism by her former castmate Faith Stowers, who is Black. Faith accused Stassi and fellow VPR mess, Kristen Doute, of racially-motivated bullying including maliciously calling the cops on her for something she didn’t do. Stassi and Kristen had to apologize for their antics but it’s not over, at least for Stassi. Stassi’s past comments on Black people have come back to get her ass. And now she can’t even turn to a publicist to burp up a PR-approved apology for her, because her publicist has dumped her as well as her talent agency.

Straight Up With Stassi is the name of Stassi’s podcast, and she is straight-up fucked. TooFab says Stassi’s woes are related to a 2017 podcast episode where she talked about the #OscarsSoWhite controversy. Stassi went off about Black people “bitching” about their issues and how she was upset about the Oscars becoming too “political”.

“I’m gonna offend a lot of people right now, but I’m gonna do it in a way where I hope that people don’t get offended–UM! I’m, like, really sick of people making everything about race? Like, I’m kind of over it. And I know that I’m the one person who is not allowed to say that because I am a white, privileged, blonde 28-year-old. So I get that. I’m saying it, I know.”

Does she? Because she really doesn’t seem to since she was not even close to finished:

“Everyone giving their impassioned speeches about race and all that stuff–I’m like: why is it always just about African Americans? Like why aren’t the Asians being like: “We’re not represented!” Why arent like, I dont know, like, Native Americans and Latinos being like: “We’re not represented!”  Why is it that they–like, it’s always just that. And then, like, whenever they get upset then everybody has to go above and beyond to then make them happy? And I hate saying the word “them” because–not everybody’s the same. I mean the ones that are, like, out there bitching about things. Because I don’t think people aren’t being nominated because of their skin color, maybe you weren’t nominated last year because you didn’t do that good of a job in your movie?”

Stassi continued her rant and was upset that LaLa Land lost to Moonlight–even though she admitted she “didn’t fuckin’ see” Moonlight.

“The reason why it won was because it was like, “the message.” It’s groundbreaking because of “the message.” Winning Best Picture to me isn’t about the fucking message. Like it’s not church… The Academy Awards are so I don’t have to think about any of that shit, and I can just focus on those fucking dresses.”

Well, believe it or not, but Stassi, who has zero talent, was signed to a talent agency. I say “was” because Variety reached out to her old talent agency, UTA, and they got back to them saying Stassi is no longer a client. Stassi’s publicist at Metro Public Relations also dropped her, saying this to Variety:

“She became a client when her publicist joined our company in July 2018. We made the decision this weekend to part ways with Stassi.”

On top of that, Stassi lost deals she had with the shaving brand Billie, the vitamin brand Ritual, and Secret Deodorant. But who knows if she’s still on VPR because Bravo declined to comment. And well, Lea Michele is somewhere wiping her brow like, “Phewf, this white chick is way worse than me!”

UPDATE: Well, that answers my question! Us Weekly reports that Bravo has finally commented on the situation. And they’ve announced both Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute have been fired from Vanderpump Rules, as well as recent additions to the VPR cast Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni.
