The Ungrateful Ass Squirrel!

A few days ago, I paid homage to a squirrel who worked extra hard to get a nut. And today, I pay homage to a squirrel who worked hard to not visit Jesus via drowning, but this squirrel draws the line at getting help from a human. I feel you, ungrateful squirrel, and that’s why I’m paying tribute to you. Because I too get all asshole-ey when someone tries to pull me out of the pool while I’m plastered. I mean, this squirrel is totally drunk.

This episode of Baywatch: Texas happened in the town of Lumberton on June 7. The woman shooting it says that they noticed a squirrel was swimming around in the kiddie pool in the backyard and needing rescuing. The woman’s daughter put on her Captain Save-A-Ho hat and tried to save the squirrel from drowning. She was about to rescue the squirrel with her bare hands but her mom let her know that probably wasn’t the best idea unless she wanted to end up in the ER, so she grabbed a chair and used that to scoop the squirrel out. But well, some tricks don’t want to be saved and the ungrateful squirrel attacked her ass!

“I called my daughter outside to see a squirrel trapped in my granddaughter’s kiddie pool; and of course, being the animal lover she is, she had to attempt a rescue. The squirrel was not quite as grateful as she had hoped! It leaps at her face as she recoils in horror and runs away screaming. She came away with a scratch on her arm, and after a cautious second attempt, she did indeed rescue the squirrel.”

Here’s the video of a woman’s daughter learning that sometimes helping a messy bitch out isn’t worth it especially if the messy bitch is a squirrel in an inflatable pool:

A hero! That woman is.

Well, I hope the little girl who previously owned that kiddie pool enjoyed it while she could. Because I’m sure that if we looked into that backyard now, we’d find the squirrel in that pool, lounging on a floatie with sunglasses on and snapping its squirrel fingers like, “Get me my nut-tini now!” That squirrel owns that pool now.
