70-Year-Old Richard Gere Is A Dad For The Third Time
Richard Gere may be a 70-year-old man, but he continues to prove that all the sperm in his balls look like the American Gigolo poster. Back in November, we learned that Richard’s 37-year-old wife Alejandra Silva was pregnant with their second child. We can add yet another name to the celebrity baby quarantine count, because HOLA! reports that Alejandra gave birth.
HOLA! got the exclusive baby news (because Alejandra is from Spain), and they say that their baby boy was born at their ranch in Pound Ridge, New York. I wonder if when Richard wants to get down to business, he asks Alejandra if she wants to “go to Pound Ridge.”
We don’t know their baby’s name yet, but according to HOLA!, Richard and Alejandra wanted to give birth at home, everyone is healthy, and they’re enjoying “total privacy” with their children. They’re getting total privacy, due to the fact that everyone is locked down in their homes. Thanks coronavirus, I guess? Richard and Alejandra now have two boys. Their first, Alexander, was born in February 2019. This new baby also has two half-brothers. Alejandra has a 7-year-old son named Albert, who she shares with her ex-husband. Richard has a 20-year-old son named Homer, who he shares with his ex-wife Carey Lowell.
Once I got over the fact that we’re talking about a 70-year-old man becoming a father again, I realized that this is a 70-year-old with two kids under two. During COVID-19 quarantine. My greatest respect to them both, sincerely. I have one child under two, and she recently knocked a 6-inch piece of plaster off my wall. I can’t imagine how many more Reese’s cups I’d be stress-eating if I had to clean up plaster chunks while a newborn barfed on my shoulder, as a 70-year-old man grumbled, “Back in my day, we had to walk six miles uphill to fix a plaster hole…”
