Adam Levine Is Sorry For Acting Like A Dick After Giving A Shitty Performance In Chile

To answer your question: No, he didn’t apologize for that douche rooster haircut too.
Maroon 5 performed at the Viña del Mar festival in Chile last Thursday, and it was more of a shit show than usual. Adam called it one of the worst performances he’s ever done while doing some damage control with an apology.
Here’s Adam Levine turning Moves Like Jagger into Moves Like He Doesn’t Want To Be There (And Sounds Like A Pitchy Cat In Pain):
Chile’s CHV (via People) adds that Maroon 5 was late to the performance, and two TV presenters had to kill time until they decided to show up on stage. And when the audience started singing along to She Will Be Loved, Adam got all ungrateful and bitchy by spitting out, “Well, if you want to do my job, go ahead.” It sounds to me like the promoters should’ve handed the audience Adam’s check since they did a better job at performing than he did.
Adam knew he gave a terrible show, and afterward, he was caught on camera, whining out these words, “That was a TV show … that was not a concert.”
Here comes the damage control. Adam apologized in an Instagram Story, blaming his asshole ways on sound issues that got to him. Here’s some of what he said via ET:
“I’d really like to address reactions to the concert and kind of explain myself because I feel like you guys deserve that You know, being in a band you play a lot of shows and I am so passionate and excited about concerts and about being my best and about the band being our best, and being our best for you guys, honestly, you know. Performing I take so seriously. Sometimes too seriously.
And to be totally frank, there were some things holding me back sonically last night. And I let them get to me, and it impacted how I was behaving on stage, which was unprofessional and I apologize for that.
I struggled a lot and sometimes it’s really hard for me to mask the struggle. For that, I did let you guys down and I apologize.
Last night wasn’t our best and, for that, all I can say is that I’m really sorry.”
Here’s the video of the sad, deflated pineapple apologizing to his fans:

Adam continued to apologize profusely for being such a jerk and promised that it won’t happen again, probably because he’ll never be invited back anyway. Before Maroon 5’s show in Santiago, he posted this:
Adam shouldn’t be so hard on himself. I mean, all this drama is the most interesting thing that has ever come out of Maroon 5. And even though the audience acted pissed, they were probably happy since Maroon 5 made them feel something other than boredom. Good job, Adam!
