A Postmates Driver Is Suing Lizzo For Putting Her On Blast On Twitter
Back in September, self-proclaimed bop-star Lizzo had an issue with a Postmates delivery. Instead of handling it like a boss bitch, Lizzo dealt with it like a big baby and #tooktotwitter with her complaint, posting “Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don’t fight no more” in a since deleted tweet. It’s bad enough that she named the driver publicly, but she also included Tiffany’s picture and a screenshot of the Postmates app in her tweet. After catching heat from fans who pointed out how uncool that was, Lizzo eventually apologized, but apparently not very well. Because according to TMZ, Tiffany Wells is suing her for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The worst part of it is, Tiffany was in the right the entire time. Turns out truth really does hurt!
I fear Lizzo may have failed to mention that DNA tests are typically only 99 percent accurate, so while her assertion is that she’s 100 percent that bitch, she is also at least 1 percent this bitch. According to Tiffany, she tried to make the delivery but when the concierge at the hotel Lizzo was staying at couldn’t reach her by phone, Tiffany left and moved on to her next delivery. TMZ reports:
Lizzo belatedly acknowledged she was wrong and Tiffany did nothing wrong. In fact, Tiffany went beyond what she had to do to find Lizzo in the hotel, but she was nowhere to be seen so Tiffany eventually left.
Tiffany also notes Postmates sided with her, and she moved on to the next delivery like she was supposed to after she couldn’t reach Lizzo.
Here’s the apology Lizzo tweeted at the time. It should have come with a fat check and a personal invitation to twerk with her on stage.
I apologize for putting that girl on blast. I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could’ve put her in danger. Imma really be more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door. ????

According to the lawsuit, many of those variables came to fruition.
Tiffany says she’s received threats and is concerned for her safety. She no longer works for Postmates because of the Lizzo incident. She says she lives in fear and is subject to ridicule and humiliation, along with stress and anxiety.
She’s suing Lizzo — who has more than a million twitter followers — for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
If Lizzo is truly humbled, she’ll settle this out of court quickly. I hope to see Tiffany pushing a nice new Benz for fun, and not for profit, from now on. Lizzo can afford it. CeCe Peniston hasn’t sued her yet.
