Open Post: Hosted By Alex Trebek Choking Up On “Jeopardy”, Making Us All Collectively Cry
Beloved Jeopardy host Alex Trebek has been very open about his ongoing fight with pancreatic cancer. Recently that son-of-a-bitch disease from literal Hell returned and Alex restarted chemotherapy treatments after it looked like he may be heading towards remission. It’s sad as hell and nobody likes it, and one Jeopardy contestant got me all the way fucked up by his answer to Final Jeopardy the other day, choking up Alex and making me cry in the early evening which is rare–I usually start my depression cries after midnight.
CNN says that contestant Dhruv Gaur really brought the feels during Jeopardy this Monday. During Final Jeopardy, Dhruv did not know the answer, so he just said: “Fuck it,” and chose to write a heartfelt message of support for beloved host Alex instead:

Dhruv explained his choice to bring on the emotions on Twitter, saying Alex had told everyone about how he had reentered treatment for pancreatic cancer:
