This Week’s Random Feud Courtesy Of Sarah Paulson And Lisa Vanderpump

Because sure, why not, Sarah Paulson (of award-winning serious actress fame) and Lisa Vanderpump (of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Vanderpump Rules, and PuppyGate fame) got into a little Twitter tiff (a Twiffer). It all started with Sarah doing a Vanity Fair lie detector interview (which feels a little excessive to find out truths about which housewives you like… but here we are) and Sarah said that she’s glad Lisa is off the Housewives franchise and that she met her at a party and Lisa wasn’t that nice to her. THE HORROR!!

When Real Housewives super fan Sarah Paulson claimed to Vanity Fair that upon meeting Lisa Vanderpump briefly at a party, the restauranteur “wasn’t that nice” to her, the American Horror Story star added that she didn’t want her “coming after me on Twitter.”

“I’ll miss the dynamic she brings to the group, which is, you know the fear of God she instills in everyone, but no, I won’t miss her. I met her once at a party, she wasn’t that nice to me,” Paulson added. “Am I going to get in trouble for that?” she asked, giving the camera a wide-eyed look.

Lisa tried to be a crafty bitch and played the Mariah Carey “I don’t know her” card by saying that she tries to be nice to everyone. She even added an LOL to really bring home her point.

So now the real mystery arises! Does Lisa actually know who Sarah Paulson is. Let me put on my detective hat and dive right into this mess.

Evidence For Lisa knowing Sarah Paulson:

ONE: Sarah Paulson is famously dating Holland Taylor. Holland Taylor was in a ton of TV and movies including Bosom Buddies. I’m having a hard time believing that Lisa Vanderpump hasn’t seen Bosom Buddies and wouldn’t keep up with the dating lives of a series regular.

TWO: Sarah Paulson won an Emmy for playing Marcia Clark. Lisa Vanderpump is friends with the morally corrupt Faye Resnick who was involved in the OJ Simpson murder trial and even wrote a tell-all about it.

THREE: Sarah is friends with Andy Cohen and is frequently on What What Happens Live and there’s no way Lisa doesn’t watch WWHL to see if any of her co-workers talk shit. Which they do.

That said, Lisa being rude to someone who she doesn’t know is on television totally tracks. Maybe she doesn’t actually know her and is rude to so many “nobodies” that she doesn’t actually remember meeting her.

So….the mystery remains….. and we’ll never sleep again. Here’s hoping this escalates so much so that Ryan Murphy has to do a series about it and morally corrupt Faye Resnick makes a cameo!
