Ben Affleck has decided that there is not enough room on his back for any more huge mistakes and is turning his life around. Sources are saying that Ben is embracing a clean lifestyle, spending time with his kids, and is staying away from date until he has it all the way together. The floor of Instagram today is covered with the tears of 20-something THOTs would dream of becoming Ben’s next girl.
Entertainment Tonight is reporting:
A source tells ET that the 46-year-old actor is living a healthier lifestyle these days, which includes regularly exercising and spending time with his three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner — 13-year-old Violet, 10-year-old Seraphina and 7-year-old Samuel. The source notes that 47-year-old Garner continues to be supportive of Affleck as he stays on “the right path.”
This is probably a good thing as Shauna Sexton once claimed dating Affleck was scary. And Lindsay Shookus has probably had enough coffee for a while. A source claims that Ben wants to date but needs to find someone who isn’t a messy mess and will keep him on the right path.
“Ben wants to date but knows he needs to take it slowly,” the source notes. “He wants to ensure he is healthy enough to be a supportive partner. Ben is looking to date someone who is supportive of his clean lifestyle. It has been a long road.”
It’s been a long road for all us, Ben Affleck. Hopefully this newfound clarity will make him pick some better roles and he start making quality films again because that Gigli sequel isn’t going to make itsel!. I’m also hoping he will make up with Kevin Smith and we can have a follow up to Chasing Amy/Mall Rats reunion.
Actually, since Ben is taking a break from dating, he has more time to devote to an extremely worthy cause that is close to his heart. Believe it or not, but there are still parts of the world that don’t have Dunkin’ Donuts (I know it’s just called Dunkin’ but I can’t make myself call it that) and he can focus his energies on bringing their delicious doughnuts worldwide! Give the world something of worth for once, Ben! (Again, no offense to Gigli.)
