Soulja Boy Is Going To Jail For 240 Days

I hope he packed his Souljagame because Soulja Boy is going to be spending the next several months in jail. After getting arrested on a probation violation in early April, Soulja was being held without bail. That “without bail” is now “without question” and he’s going to be in lock up for 240 days.
TMZ reports that the hammer has come down on Soulja Boy. Soulja was on probation for a weapons case all the way in 2014. He wasn’t supposed to be around guns and such. But the gag is: he was. A woman went to the police and alleged that he had held her against her will (which I’m still waiting to hear back on? Did we… resolve that?). When the police went to investigate they found ammunition in Soulja’s house and he wasn’t supposed to have that so he was arrested.
He was out of jail the same night he was arrested and was all chill about it, even performing at a Clippers game. When he got to court later on, the judge was the opposite of chill–I’d call it “pissed”–and told him he was going to be staying in jail pending sentencing. It seemed that not only did Soulja break his probation, he also tried to falsify his community service. So he was held without bail.
Yesterday, Soulja was back in court after being locked up since April 11. His attorney tried to argue that he had an “awakening” in prison. It didn’t work. Soulja was sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service. Technically, Soulja will only spend 200 days in jail because TMZ says that he’s getting time served for 40 days. And the judge showed pit on Soulja Boy
And the judge also said that he was maybe going to give Soulja two years in state prison but chose to be “lenient” acknowledging Soulja’s missed business opportunities. Don’t worry girl, Nintendo has that covered.
He should start thinking about what he’s going to do for community service because that’s a lot of days of serving the community. I also hope Soulja can acclimate well to life in jail. Won’t be able to take pictures like this in there:
