The Situation Became The Husband Yesterday

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has been engaged to his fiancée Lauren Pesce since he popped the question during an episode of Jersey Shore Family Vacation in June. He’s also about to go to prison for tax evasion. The Situation becomes The Inmate anytime between now and January 15, 2019, which means he had to decide if he wanted to get married before, after, or sometime during his prison stay. He went with the first option.

UsWeekly says The Situation and Lauren got married at Legacy Castle (classy!) in Pompton Plains, NJ in front of friends and family. Guests included his Jersey Shore cast members JWoww, Ronnie, Deena, Snooki, Pauly D, Vinny, and Angelina. JWoww and Snooki’s daughters Meilani and Giovanna were flowers girls. UsWeekly landed the exclusive shot of The Situation and Lauren. Get that pre-prison check! Just don’t forget to pay taxes on it.

The Situation and Lauren also released a statement about their wedding and it’s Jersey Shore levels of corny.

“We are so incredibly excited to begin our journey as husband and wife! We are each other’s best friend and together we can handle anything. Thank you to all our family, friends and fans who have supported us every step of the way. Gym, Tan, Laurens is the new GTL! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Sorrentino.”

As for his vows, I’m assuming it sounded a little something like this:

“I, The Situation, take you, Mrs. Situation, for my lawful partner in getting crazy and wild, to have and to smush from this day forward, for shore season and the off season, in fist pumping and chicken parm, for richer, until the cabs are here, amen. Now cue the LMFAO!”
