Denise Richards Got Married In Front Of Bravo’s Cameras

September 9, 2018 / Posted by:

Denise Richards married Aaron Phypers yesterday as planned in an intimate Malibu wedding ceremony that included only their closest family and friends. But don’t worry, “intimate Malibu wedding ceremony” translates to fully filmed and currently being edited for the upcoming ninth season of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. That’s right, if you didn’t make the invite list, don’t worry! Just like Charlie Sheen, who may or may not have been in attendance yesterday, you can relive all the wedding magic as soon as the next season of RHOBH kicks off!

Yesterday I posted about how Denise announced her surprise engagement two days before the wedding was to take place, and that her ex-boo Charlie scored a “winning” ticket to the event. Sadly, today we have no confirmation of “The High Priest Vatican Assassin Warlock” (yes, that’s really what he called himself) being in attendance, but we will have a chance to try and catch a glimpse of him once the wedding is aired as part of Denise’s entrance to the world of RHOBH later this year.

But you don’t have to wait that long to check out the wedding, because Bravo has already released a quick promo clip of Denise and Aaron for you to body language analyze to death! People provided this sophisticated transcript so that you can follow along with the accompanying clip in case you get lost.

“Hi, I’m Denise Richards, and yep, the rumors are true: This is my husband Aaron, and we just got married.”

Richards beamed as he added, “We’re married. Love you, baby.”

Then the couple leaned in for a kiss in front of a large floral arrangement and the ocean.

Ummm, I’m no body language expert myself, but I’d say the couple had already tossed a few champagnes back before filming that video. Aaron looks either uncomfortable as fuck to be on camera (which is weird, because his Instagram gives 10,000 shades of Eddie Cibrian movie of the week actor vibes), or he is trying hard not to fall over drunk, or he is… maybe not that articulate? He pretty much grunts out reluctantly “We’re married. Love you babe” before going in hard for a kiss. Maybe he’s already shitting his pants over getting his balls busted on RHOBH for what will inevitably be a lead story line on the show. In which case, he is a very smart man indeed!

Speaking of smart ideas, so many people are trashing Denise’s choice of wedding fashion (?), that the dress’s designer Mark Zunino has had to post a “sorry, not sorry” on his Instagram page defending his dress design.  He brags to People he only had 24 hours to create the mess. Yeah, I probably wouldn’t be bragging about only having 24 hour to create this stripper onesie meets straight off the roll at Jo-Ann Fabric shit, but the quick turn around does explain a lot.

I don’t think we’ve ever had a wedding dress create more split opinions than the dress we just did for Denise Richards! Here’s our thought: we work for the bride/client. As long as they’re in love with the design, we feel we’ve done our job. Unless you’ve paid for it or are the one wearing it you don’t have to worry about it! We are thrilled that Denise felt beautiful on her special day and love how the dress 100% fit her personality and the setting. We look forward to looking with any of you and creating the dress of your dreams no matter what anyone else thinks! But well, at least Denise brought the wedding elegance, unlike her new husband who looks like he’s ready to hit up a third tier club in Florida.

Congratulations to the happy couple and to Bravo for the magnificent work in throwing this wedding together to promote the upcoming season! If you can pull a messy Charlie Sheen out of your magical hat for the premiere episode, I may even bow down to you.
