Tyrese Gibson Is Off The Hook For Those Child Abuse Charges

Father of the Year, Tyrese Gibson, has finally some good news to share about his ongoing custody battle with ex-wife Norma Mitchell over their daughter Shayla. Tyrese was under investigation for child abuse as alleged by Norma. People reports that particular drama is over. Tyrese #ignitedInstagram with the news and thanked his current wife Samantha Gibson for her support by posting a creepy picture of her sleeping.

According to People:

The 38-year-old actor posted a loving message to Samantha on Instagram Saturday, days after The Blast reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services had closed their investigation in Tyrese’s alleged beating of Shalya and would not be seeking any criminal charges against the actor.

You can always count on Tyrese to make the best most logical and sane of choices. Get into a very public fight with The Rock? Choose it! Scar your child for life with inappropriate gestures? Choose it! Threaten to walk out on your only real job? Choose it! Spill your guts and ugly cry on social media? Choose it! Thank your wife by posting a picture of her sleeping? Choose it! For Tyrese there are no bad choices, only opportunities. He’s a regular choice master!

In addition to having the child abuse investigation closed, Tyrese also has received some much needed financial help from his pals the Pinkett-Smiths. According to an Instagram post (choices!) Will and Jada have given the Gibson’s $5 million dollars to help cover legal expenses from Tyrese’s custody mess (choices!).

Apparently Uncle Will (that’s what Tyrese calls him. Choices!) and Jada are close enough to do that for him even though he has Jada in his phone as “Actress Jada Pinkett Smith” (how do we know, he posted it on IG. Choices!). I hate to think of the devil’s bargain he had to make to get that money. If we see Tyrese hanging out on the corner offering free personality tests, we’ll know why. Meanwhile, the world holds it’s breath in anticipation of Tyrese’s next exciting life choice!
