Nicole Kidman Explained Her Emmys Smooch With Alexander Skarsgard

Emmys night this year was a big night for Big Little Lies, and the cast was elated to the point where Nicole Kidman laid a big ol’ kiss on Alexander Skarsgård right in front of her husband, Keith Urban. And now she has some ‘splaining to do.

Nicole was on The Graham Norton Show, and the British shit-stirring equivalent of our own Andy Cohen asked her about her Best Actress Emmy win and the kiss seen Down Under, Over Yonder, and everywhere in between.

Nicole got a little shy before muttering, “You are so provocative, Graham” and then adding “I also kissed my husband, too.” Alexander has said in the past he felt his role as an abusive asshole on Big Little Lies likely ruined his chances of ever playing a leading man again. Nicole was probably just giving him a bit of consolation tongue. Actually, she said she did it because he’s basically ripe for taking Kim Cattrall’s role in the Mannequin sequel:

“I did kiss [Skarsgard], but you gotta understand, I did everything with Alex. I’ve got an amazing, supportive husband who I love more than anything in the world, and I gave Alex a congratulatory kiss, and he’s like a mannequin.”

If ASkars is a mannequin, then I guess I’m officially into doll play.

Nicole then added those kind of fireworks were reserved for Keith. Keith threw her a 50th birthday bash, and it included fireworks and a game I imagine they like to call Outback Boning:

“He did some fireworks and…other stuff.”

I kind of do and I kind of don’t want to think about Nicole and Keith doing it. It just seems like a lot of prep work since they probably both have to put their blonde tresses in shower caps so they don’t ruin their matching blowouts .
