Usher Accuses His Accusers Of Lying

I know he’s not, but the way Usher is holding his hand in that picture above makes it look like he’s about to reach out, grab one of those lawsuits, and throw it in the trash like, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, shorty got down low and put a bunch of lies up on me.” That’s not exactly how it went down, but it’s kind of close?

TMZ says that Usher’s legal team recently filed a response to the California lawsuit filed by lawyer Lisa Bloom on behalf of three accusers (two women and a man) who are pissed right off that Usher allegedly exposed them to herpes. This is a different lawsuit than the $20 million one filed by a woman who tested positive for herpes, and alleges she caught them from Usher. Usher’s response to the three-person lawsuit is that he denies everything. He claims he had no sexual contact with any of the three, as well as denying the allegations that he exposed any of them to herpes.

Usher also alleges through his lawyers, Laura Wasser and Zia Modabber, that none of the three accusers can win their lawsuit because they have “unclean hands.” It’s not specified what that even means, but TMZ says the implication is that all three have done something wrong. Usher also claims he can’t be sued for alleged herpes exposure, because any alleged herpes exposure would have been unintentional. So, hypothetically, if he had herpes, he didn’t know it at the time.

Usher’s final argument is that all three – which he’s not admitting to bumping wet ones with, but again, hypothetically – were assuming the risks involved with having sex. Again, if they hypothetically decided to have sex with Usher. Sort of a “You caught it, you bought it” situation, I guess.

The argument that he didn’t have sex with any of the three accusers is going to be a tough one to argue. One of Usher’s accusers, Quantasia Sharpton, claimed she had sex with Usher after a concert. Usher denied that in a really gross way, which led to a hotel employee calling bullshit on Usher’s denial. Earlier this week, Quantasia appeared on a radio show and claimed she had proof of their alleged hook-up in the form of a sex tape. Lisa Bloom issued a correction, saying the sex tape talk was a “misunderstanding,” but that there might be security tape footage of Quantasia and Usher’s alleged hook-up.

Still, I want to know what the hell Usher means with that whole “unclean hands” thing. Is he implying that his accusers were all doing something illegal while they had sex? Like talking about importing counterfeit jeans, or not paying their taxes? My suggestion: Plead the fifth! Or just counter-argue that for someone who was once accused of having a penis that was dripping green goo, he’s in no position to accuse anyone of unclean body parts.
