Amber Heard Gets The Last Laugh
If you can shove aside the recent memories of Amber Heard on-and-off humping Elon Musk for a free Tesla, you’ll realize it wasn’t that long ago when she and ex-husband Johnny Depp got into hot water after they failed to declare their Yorkies, Pistol and Boo, when traveling Down Under in 2015. Australian Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce threatened to have the dogs put down, and, since the dogs were registered in Amber’s name, she was hit with charges. She eventually pled guilty and re-upped her SAG membership when she and Johnny put out a masterclass in acting in an apology video for pup smuggling. Barnaby said actors shouldn’t be get special treatment because of their high-profile. Laws are laws!
Or are they?
BBC News reports Barnaby is in a worse Australian situation than being born into the Minogue family only to find out that you’re Dannii and not Kylie. Ol’ Barnaby is apparently a dual citizen of New Zealand, which is possibly in violation of Aussie constitutional rules. A hypocritical politician?! Someone pass the smelling salts! Fans took note of the double standard, and Amber (or just some sassy kween of an assistant) tweeted out some shade:
When @Barnaby_Joyce said "no one is above the law" I didn't realize he meant New Zealand law … https://t.co/ZSAy5sYPL2

To comfort Mr. Joyce in his hour need, I have sent him a box of New Zealand's finest kiwi fruit (assuming this passes his biosecurity laws) pic.twitter.com/lQHJzMyXT9

But what about Pistol and Boo?! Let’s talk about the real victims here! What do they think of this troll? How will they react? Telegram over some Yorkie-turds to Sydney? Nah, if they could live with Johnny in Nicolas Cage Leaving Las Vegas cosplay above and not put up a fight, I don’t expect much yap from their border patrol shit-stirring selves.
