TBS’ Full Frontal host, Samantha Bee, put on a “NOT The White House Correspondents Dinner” show in Washington, D.C. last night. To augment the huge amount of “EFF POTUS” comedy, one of the highlights was Will Ferrell doing his impression Dubya again.

Back in the day, former president George W. Bush was one of Will’s most popular bits when he was on Saturday Night Live. Speaking for myself, I actually preferred Will and Rachel Dratch as tantric college professor LOV-AHS in the HAW-TUB, but I know, I’m weird.

Via Rolling Stone:

“How do you like me now, huh?” “Bush” asked the room as he stamped out a cigarette with his shoe. “The prodigal son has returned. I don’t know what that means but it’s positive.”

Most of Will’s performance consisted of the obvious jokes about how liberals thought Dubya’s presidency was blech. But now, compared to president Donald Trump, he seems like a hazy, yet beautiful dream of progressive politics and dignity. Oh, and then there were jokes about how Fox News is full of conservative suck-ups with pussy-grabbing problems.

“Bush” also lamented the ousting of some prominent Fox News employees. “They’re firing anchors over there faster than you can say ‘Hey, hot chocolate.'”

Will also used some prop comedy to illustrate how president Trump looks like he was born straight out of a particularly angry editorial cartoonist’s work. He also noted the unnatural hue of our president.

“As you can see, I exhausted my palette of yellows and oranges. It’s clear that he has an unnatural color to him, it’s a strange hue, it’s not really orange or yellow. I have a new name for that color, they should just call it Mar-a-Lago.”
