Why So Subtle, Kelly Ripa?

April 21, 2016 / Posted by:

Just hours after everyone found out that Disney and her co-host of 4 years Michael Strahan didn’t tell her about him leaving their morning show for Good Morning America before announcing it to the world, Kelly Ripa strut out of her townhouse while making sure that the paps got a good shot of the book in her hand. The book was David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants, and yeah, I don’t have to really explain what it’s about. But you know, I think that move was a little too subtle. I don’t think everyone got it. Kelly’s hot pocket piece husband Mark Consuelos should’ve dragged out a giant wooden cross with her nailed to it, and as streams of blood (read: grenadine) trickled down her face from the crown of thorns on her head, an actor in a Mickey Mouse costume and another one wearing a Michael Strahan mask should’ve taken turns whipping her. Or she should’ve just come out dressed like Joan of Arc with a Mickey Mouse head stuck to her sword. We all would’ve gotten the point if she did that.

We’re into day 2 of the ESCANDALO that has rocked the morning talk show world hard. Kelly didn’t co-host Live! With Kelly and Michael yesterday, because she was pissed about getting blindsided. Kelly was not on today’s show and she won’t be on until at least Tuesday. Kelly and her husband planned a 20th anniversary trip to Turks and Caicos months ago, so she was already scheduled to be out on Friday and Monday. She just extended it . Some sources say that she’ll be back on Tuesday and others say that she might not be back until after Michael leaves in September.

People says that Kelly doesn’t only have a problem with Michael. She’s also got a problem with Live!’s executive producer Michael Gelman who has worked on the show since the beginning. People’s source says that things between Kelly and Gelman haven’t exactly been rainbow farts and teddy bear kisses for years. Kelly doesn’t like that Gelman treats her like dirty ass but is nice to Michael:

“Gelman doesn’t treat Michael bad and doesn’t talk to him the way he talks to Kelly. Michael had become the go-between for them, so that’s part of why Kelly is really pissed Michael is leaving.”

A different source tells People that Michael Strahan wanted to tell Kelly about his move to GMA months ago, but the head bitches at Disney told him to keep that secret safely tucked in his gap and not tell a soul. TMZ also posted a story this morning that claims Kelly is not going to quit Live!, because she needs her $15 million+ a year paycheck to keep living that luxurious life, which includes that $27 million townhouse and a house in the Hamptons.

So let’s see, there’s stories about how Kelly didn’t get along with Gelman, Kelly needs that job for the check, Kelly is a diva for not showing up to work and Michael Strahan wanted to tell her but couldn’t. Mickey Mouse’s PR team is going hard, and Kelly’s PR team better step it up. That little pap walk with a book isn’t going to cut it. I want to hear stories about how Mickey got caught getting blown by an intern at Live! in Gelman’s office and how Michael Strahan can’t even say George Stephanopoulos’ last name without covering every camera lens with spit. Come on, Kelly, go to war!
