Katt Williams Was Really Busy In Georgia (UPDATE)

Earlier this week it was reported that Polly Pocket-sized stand-up comedian Katt Williams got arrested after terrorizing a pool supply store during a recent tour stop in Georgia. If you can believe it, whooping a trick over some pool shock wasn’t the messiest situation he got into while he was there.

According to TMZ, Katt Williams held five women at gunpoint at 2:30 on Sunday morning in Atlanta. The women claim that they approached Katt and his 15-person entourage and asked for a picture, which he agreed to. Katt noticed that one of them was filming a video instead of taking a picture. The women claim that set him off and he punched one of them. Everyone started fighting, and that’s when Feral Kitten pulled out a gun and demanded that they hand over their phones.

One of the women managed to grab a phone from her car and dial 911. When police arrived, Katt admitted that he pulled a gun, but that it was an act of self defense because he heard the women mention something about a gun. He also claims the women had been harassing him and that he punched one of the women because she was trying to yank a chain off his neck. Nobody was arrested because there were no injuries and no witnesses outside of the women and Katt’s entourage. However, they are still investigating, and the women say they’ve gotten a lawyer.

As for that pool supply store fight, Katt says it all started because the store assumed he was there to steal from them. He also accused the cashier of pocketing the $1500 he used to pay for the items, threatening to kick him out, and calling him the n-word. Katt added: “Katt Williams did what Katt Williams had to do.” He also said that he doesn’t plan to perform in Georgia again.

When I heard about how Katt spent his time in Georgia, all I could think about was how much of a waste it was. He could have visited Blanche Devereaux’s birthplace or seen the World’s Largest Peanut, and instead he decides to start fights on the street at 2:30am. Come on Katt, that’s not what Georgia is for. Early-morning group fights over pictures and jewelry are really more of Florida’s thing.

UPDATE: Katt Williams has apparently been really busy outside of Georgia, too. TMZ says Katt was involved in a fight in Los Angeles yesterday after he stopped to assist some people who were involved in a car accident outside of his hotel and a group of bystanders (or “rappers” as he calls them) started making fun of his height. Kat claims one of them punched him after he told them to shut up, and he only retaliated with punches in self defense. Police are still investigating who hit who first, and Katt is currently a suspect for misdemeanor battery.
