This Writer’s Strike Sucks

The writer's strike will most likely go into the new year which means a lot of shows have already shut down production. NBC has not only shut down production of "Saturday Night Live" but now Page Six reports that they have fired most of their full-time staff. A source claimed 90 percent was let go due to the strike. Even long-term employees were let go. The source also said SNL staffers were not given any kind of severance. NBC declined to comment.

Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Carson Daly all went into repeats and could face cuts to their staff as well. David Letterman has told his staff he will pay them through his production company if the strike lasts through the holidays.

That sucks. Can't they just go have some donuts and talk again? Donuts solve everything. If all my favorite shows are going into repeats what am I to do?! Yes, I'm selfish. Can't the studios and those others bitches just give them what they want, so I don't have to spend my nights watching HGTV or even worse, reading a book. How does one do that anymore?

End the strike!
