Open Post: Hosted By Gina Lollobrigida Getting Her Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame

And leave it to Gina Lollobrigida to stay looking stunning while getting arrested by the LAPD for causing car accidents, traffic jams and other public disturbances with her legendary beauty, iconic glamour and star power!

It only took forever, but 90-year-old Italian screen goddess Gina Lollobrigida finally got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday. While balancing sixty-five tons of luscious hair on her delicately exquisite head, Gina told reporters about how she was treated like a queen by MGM when she came first to Hollywood to do a movie with Frank Sinatra, and said that she’s very moved by how much love she’s gotten since coming back. If you ask me, Gina didn’t get nearly as much love as she deserves. People should’ve thrown roses, jewels, money, babies, their car keys and the deed to their house at her for gracing their eyeballs with her perfection. I mean, Gina’s hair alone is the most glamorous bomb cloud I’ve ever seen.

As everyone knows, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame isn’t free. Someone has to pay for it. Sometimes the celebrity themselves pay for it and sometimes the studio backing a movie that the celebrity is in pays for it. In Gina’s case, a source (that I made up) told me that L.A.’s Office of Community Beautification paid for it, because they knew that a star with her name on it would make the city a much more gorgeous place.
