Open Post: The Shitty Haircut That Got A Hair Stylist Arrested

Before you think back to a haircut from hell you got and wonder if you can still press charges against the scissors-wielding minion of Satan who gave it to you, I should tell your ass that the hair stylist in this story was arrested for allegedly cutting his customer’s ear. He was not arrested for giving the customer a busted haircut.

Wisconsin State Journal says that last Friday, a 22-year-old dude went to Ruby’s Salon on State Street in Madison, WI for a normal haircut, but what he got was a bloody ear and a giant runway-shaped bald spot that made him look like a new wave Prince William. Cops say that the customer asked hair stylist Khaled A. Shabani to shave the sides of his head and cut an inch off the top. Khaled apparently didn’t like that the customer was fidgeting so much and allegedly twisted the dude’s ear before pulling a level 3 Van Gogh (read: intentionally snipping his ear with scissors) on him. Khaled then busted out his last act of rage by using the shortest possible clipper attachment to shave the middle part of that dude’s hair off. Khaled got him looking like a derp-ier Friar Tuck.

The customer left the salon and went to another to get the rest of his hair shaved off. He also got the police involved. Khaled claims the ear snip was an accident. He was arrested on a tentative charge of mayhem and disorderly conduct. I’m not defending the alleged Demon Barber of State Street, but if you’re going to get charged with something, you may as well get charged with mayhem. Khaled was later given a ticket for disorderly conduct. He plans to fight it. A rep for the Madison Police Department said this:

“While it is not a crime to give someone a bad haircut, you will get arrested for intentionally snipping their ear with a scissors.”

Khaled will probably end up losing business over this, because well, I know some kinky bitches who like it extra rough and even they wouldn’t be into getting cut in the ear. But if he pulls back on the alleged rage and stops snipping ears, he could become the new IT stylist to hipsters everywhere. That haircut is a stupid wreck and hipsters love haircuts that make them look like a stupid wreck. I’m sure that Robert Pattinson will be the first one to stroll into Ruby’s and ask Khaled to give him the “Tentative Charge of Mayhem” haircut.
