Rolling Stone is reporting that Woodstock 50 is really hurtling quickly towards a destination known as Fyre Festival Disaster. While it’s true that few people can say they’ve achieved the supreme level of failure that the attempted Fyre Festival ended up being, Woodstock 50 can take comfort in knowing it still has a few advantages. Now that it’s reportedly lost its venue, it seems like it won’t even be happening and it not happening is better than it happening and being bad, right?
Woodstock 50 Says That They’ve Got A New Investor And Will Go On
The residents of Watkins Glen, NY had probably already un-boarded their windows, cancelled their panicked exodus planned weekend away to Niagara Falls, and torn the “Parking $150” signs out of their driveways when TMZ reported that Woodstock 50 was back on yesterday. That sucks that some of them probably had to pay the rental fee for the Porta Potty to host on their front lawns twice.
Woodstock 50 Has Sued A Former Main Investor For Stealing
Previously the main investor of Woodstock 50 announced that the festival was off because they didn’t think they could put on “an event worthy of the Woodstock Brand name while also ensuring the health and safety of the artists, partners and attendees.”
Well, the organizers of the festival shot down its cancellation and told people the festival was still on. TMZ says that organizers are now accuser that former main investor, Denstu, from stealing funds and sabotaging the festival. Oh bitch, what organizers are going to want to do is start collecting footage so they can create a Netflix documentary that paints them and the people involved in a good light while throwing one specific person under the bus.
