It's not even been a week and several names have already been rumored as replacement for Rosie O'Donnell when she leaves "The View" in June. Inside sources say that Connie Chung, Kathie Lee Gifford, Whoopi Goldberg and Joan Rivers are all at the top of a "replacement list." At the very, very top of that list is Roseanne Barr.

 

An inside source at the show said that producers are looking for a strong personality like Rosie's and Roseanne fits the bill. Roseanne's rep said that she hasn't even been approached and it's just a rumor. Roseanne told Larry King recently about joining the talk show:

 

 

Elisabeth Hasselcrack will announce on the show this morning that she's knocked up and will be taking maternity leave in the Fall. She's 3-months pregnant.

 

I knew this would happen. The View got themselves an A-lister in Rosie O'Donnell and now they are going to try and recreate the magic with a total has-been. It's not going to work. They should pack up and call it a day!

The New York Post claims that Rosie O'Donnell wanted Barbara Walters out of  "The View." Sources claim that Rosie approached ABC about taking over the talk show from top to bottom. Rosie wanted ABC to buy out Babs to keep her happy. Rosie said yesterday on the show that they couldn't come to terms with the length of the new contract, but apparently it had nothing to do with that.

 

Rosie's rep said, "That's absolutely not true, it's categorically false. People are making things up because they want to pit two powerful women against each other. Rosie just did not want to commit to three years."

 

Rosie has already been in talks for her own daytime or nightime talk show for 2009. There are also rumors that she will join the Broadway cast of Les Miserables.

 

I just heard a rumor from an inside source (the homeless man down the street) that ABC is looking to replace Rosie with a dude.

 

 

 

 

 

TMZ was right! Rosie O'Donnell is leaving "The View" after fulfilling her one-season contract. ABC just released this statement and Rosie will confirm on today's show at 11. ABC was unable to come to a contractual agreement for her second year and she will leave Mid-June.

 

Barbara Wawa said: "I induced Rosie to come back to television on 'The View' even for just one year. She has given the program new vigor, new excitement and wonderful hours of television. I can only be grateful to her for this year. I am very sad that ABC Daytime could not reach an agreement with her for a second year. We will all miss Rosie on 'The View,' and hope she will be back with us often next season. She remains for me a cherished friend and colleague."

Rosie said: "This has been an amazing experience, and one I wouldn't have traded for the world. Working with Barbara, Joy and Elisabeth has been one of the highlights of my career, but my needs for the future just didn't dovetail with what ABC was able to offer me. To all the viewers out there, I just want to say 'thank you' for opening up your hearts and your homes to me this past year. But you can always find me at rosie.com. Here's hoping there's more confetti for all of us going forward."

ABC has no plans to announce a new co-host yet.

 

 

 

TMZ is reporting that Rosie O'Donnell will announce that she's leaving "The View" this morning. Sources say she will stick it out for the rest of the season, but will announce today that she quits this bitch. These sources say that the rumors are coming from the show itself.

Rosie's rep was not available for comment.

 

I guess we'll see at 11am, but if this is true I'm done with The View. I only watch it to see what Rosie's going to say and who's going to fight, blah, blah blah. I love Joy, but this show is nothing without Rosie. NOTHING!

UPDATE – TMZ is now saying that the rumors are TRUE and that producers are already looking for her replacement. Unless her replacement is Alexyss K. Tylor aka Vagina Power, I'm done!

 

 

 

Rosie O'Donnell left a room full of powerful women speechless last night at the Matrix Awards where she hosted. The awards honor women in media and included a room filled with Barbara Walters, Hilary Clinton, Arianna Huffington, Rupert Murdoch and Meredith Viera.

Rosie decided to use her time onstage to once again talk crap about Donald Trump. She threw FuckBombs left and right and also grabbed her crotch telling him to "Eat Me" and that's an all-you-can-eat buffet times two!!!

 

She said that when Trump called her "disgusting" and "fat" she was sad because, "it was always my dream to give an old, bald billionaire a boner."

 

Some people in the room were left completely offended, because also in attendance were a group of high-school girls who won scholarships to pursue a career in media.

 

Oh please! Those girls have probably heard and done worse. Yeah it's gross, but this is the reality of life! I just wish Trump and Rosie would move on already. We're all over it, why aren't they?

Donald Trump is the only one that isn't over his whole feud with Rosie O'Donnell. On Monday, he sent Barbara Walters a large bustier and gigantic panties that Rosie wore in "Exit to Eden." A fan of Trump's bought it at auction and then had it framed and delivered to Babs.

 

Donald told Page Six , "I sent it to Barbara to hang in her office because I didn't want it in mine. It was funny, except that it was really gross. It's disgusting. I feel sorry for [Rosie's] wife. It can't be pleasant."

 

Rosie and Barbara sort of talked about it on "The View" but didn't mention who or what was sent to Barbara.  

 

Donald, you lost! Your show is like #50 and nobody cares about you anymore. Part of me thinks all of this was a big publicity stunt and Rosie's going to show up at the finale of "The Apprentice" this Sunday. Even if she did, people still wouldn't watch that crap.
