DutchNews.fl reports that two gay penguins at Dierenpark Zoo in the city of Amersfoort in Utrecht, Netherlands already had a reputation as two shifty bitches when last year they stole an egg from another family. That egg didn’t hatch, so they were at it again this year but stepped up their thievery all the way. They stole an entire nest from a lesbian penguin couple. But the lesbian penguin couple are probably cackling their feathers off because the eggs were not fertilized.
The couple are taking in it in turns to sit on the eggs and keep them warm, while the other forages for food. However, the eggs are unlikely to hatch because they may not have not been fertilised, given they were laid by the lesbian couple, says zoo keeper Sander Drost.

Drost says the would-be fathers are a dominant couple within the 17-strong group in penguin enclosure. ‘Each couple in the enclosure have their own shelter but this couple has commandeered two,’ he told RTV Utrecht
Those gay penguins aren’t going to stop until they’re fathers, so they’re going to continue the egg-snatching during the next breeding season. Bravo, please do something right for once and give this penguin saga the reality show platform it needs!
