After what feels like 650 years of delays, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One will hit theaters on July 12. So you’d think Tom Cruise would be farting up clouds of excitement over this, but apparently, he’s not. M:I 7 has booked most of the IMAX screens for its first week, but it’ll be pushed out when Oppenheimer opens on July 21. Because Oppenheimer has booked all IMAX screens in North America for three weeks. Cinema Savior Tommy is not having it and is supposedly “showing the film to exhibitors in an effort to convince them to switch their plans from Oppenheimer.” Barbie also comes out on July 21. So on that day, I’ll be watching Barbie while in Earring Magic Ken cosplay (aka my everyday look). But I may poke my head into an IMAX showing of Oppenheimer in hopes of seeing an enraged Tom Cruise punching the screen – Uproxx
