Hot Slut Of The Day!
Skittles’ Singing Rabbit!
Now, I know it’s Halloween times, and bunnies and rabbits will get their time in the shine next year during Easter. But Skittles’ Singing Rabbit fits in with horror season because it’s obviously a creature straight from the fuckery depths of Hell. In the early and mid-aughts, some companies really tried to bring the weirdness in their commercials, and Skittles was no exception. In the mid-aughts, Skittles launched their Be Careful What You Trade For Skittles campaign, and as part of it, they gave us a giant rabbit warbling out opera. That’s one way to let us know that the not-so-secret ingredient in Skittles is LSD.
Skittles’ now-legendary Opera Rabbit started annoying viewers in commercials in 2006. The commercial must have taken place at a time when you can’t just buy a bag of Skittles at Target, because in it, two dudes partake in some kind of back alley drug deal where one exchanges a bag of Skittles for a yodeling rabbit. The dude who agrees to take Singing Rabbit for a bag of Skittles is either a serious masochist or a serious dom who really wants to torture his sub. But shortly after he makes the exchange, he regrets it, because that annoying ball of fluff keeps him up all night and won’t let his ears rest! So he carries that fluffy torture device through the rain and goes to the house of the dude he traded his Skittles with. And as he stands outside and watches the dude happily eat up that bag of Skittles, the yodeling rabbit from Hell proves that they’re Bunnicula’s kin by biting him before hopping off into the night. Taste the rainbow? More like, taste the fuckery!
That was the last we ever heard of Opera Rabbit, but since the aughts have been making a comeback, it’s time for Opera Rabbit’s comeback too. Fire Angelina Jolie from the Oscar-baity Maria Callas movie and put Opera Rabbit in! No lip-synching required!
