Open Post: Hosted By Jason Momoa Cutting His Hair Off To Bring Awareness To Single-Use Plastic

September 6, 2022 / Posted by:

For a second this weekend, Jason Momoa went from Aquaman to Captain Planet when he took a pair of scissors and clippers to his long ass mane. Jason says he chopped his hair and got a buzz cut. Jason says he got the chop to get more people to pay attention to how horrible single-use plastic use is. Not sure if that move got enough attention, so Jason may have to follow it up with a video of him trimming the carpet too!

People reports that Jason wants to bring awareness to the environmental issues in our world today, and the fact that plastic is now showing up in oceans, especially in his beloved home state of Hawaii. So in an effort to make people understand how detrimental single-plastic usage is he shaved off most of his lion’s mane while giving the people a message about why they need to join him in his cause.

“Shavin’ off the hair… doing it for…” he said before pointing to the newly shaved side of his head. “I’ve never even felt the wind right there!” he added.

“Doing it for single-use plastics,” Momoa continued. “I’m tired of using plastic bottles, we gotta stop, plastic forks, all that s—, goes into our land, goes into our ocean.

Jason has yet to add any updated photos on the aftermath of his new haircut, but he probably won’t, since he’ll have a full head of hair again in about a week.

Now that Jason has shaved all of his hair off I hope people still know who he is since his hair was a huge part of his brand. Because you remember what happened to Jennifer Grey after that notorious nose job made us forget who the hell she was. Hopefully, Jason still has his Aquaman costume because without it people may never recognize him again.
