Jerry Hall And Rupert Murdoch’s Divorce Finalized After Some Confusion

August 11, 2022 / Posted by:

Last month, 65-year-old Jerry Hall filed for divorce from 91-year-old billionaire villain Rupert Murdoch. But this week, Jerry threw a PLOT TWIST into the mix when she filed to cancel her divorce filing without prejudice–meaning she can’t file again. But then their divorce was finalized and they released a statement through Rupert’s team saying they’re over and wish each other the best. What a tease. For a second there, we all thought that true love PREVAILED and Jerry was back in Rupert’s sexy arms. But the lord giveth and the lord taketh away.

Rupert Murdoch has officially gone through his fifth divorce. He married Patricia Booker in 1956 and divorced her in 1967; married Anna Maria Torv in 1967 then they ended in 1999; which is the same year he married Wendi Deng who Rupert then divorced in 2013. Rupert met Jerry in 2015 and married her the next year. Jerry needs to catch up because this is only her first divorce–she was with Mick Jagger for twenty years but never married him, and they have four children together. Speaking of children, all of Rupert’s hated Jerry.

Rupert has six kids with three women: Prudence MacLeod, 64, Elisabeth Murdoch, 53, Lachlan Murdoch, 50, James Murdoch, 49, Grace Murdoch, 21, and Chloe Murdoch, 19. And The Daily Mail says that rumor has it the kids were not fans of Jerry’s. What, Prudence didn’t like having a stepmother the same age as her? I think that happening to a woman at age 64 is a lot more progressive than that happening to a woman in her twenties, right? It’s not like her dad married her sorority sister–at least not when she was of the age of the sorority.

Speaking to Mail+, an insider said: “They thought that Jerry was keeping them from him. She does blame the children for souring the marriage.”

“They had a lot to say about it and a role in his personal life which she found a nasty surprise. Clearly, they mistrusted her.”

Also, Jerry’s kids and Rupert’s kids didn’t seem to get along either.

And there appeared to be signs the two groups did not mix, with very few public joint appearances between the families following the wedding in 2015.

One of those present at Mr Murdoch’s summer party at the Serpentine Gallery in London earlier this summer was surprised no to see Miss Hall, or any of her family, by his side.

They said: “I did think it was odd that she wasn’t there. She’s a social butterfly and would generally be at these sort of functions… I also noticed that none of her side of the family was there, nor her friends.”

Meanwhile none of Jerry’s children were present at the recent family wedding of Rupert’s granddaughter Charlotte Freud to rapper Luke Storey – despite there being 70 guests at the lavish event.

And both Rupert and Jerry’s children have offered no public comment or indication of any love lost in the proceedings.

“Rapper” Luke Storey? …Let’s ask the audience:

Despite the kids not getting along, Jerry decided to try to end the divorce this week, filing with the Los Angeles Court to have the divorce dismissed without prejudice on Tuesday. But The Daily Mail says that just a few hours later, the divorce was finalized:

But hours after news of the development broke, it emerged Ms. Hall and Mr. Murdoch have settled their break-up agreement and “remain good friends.”

Last night a spokesman for Mr. Murdoch released a statement on behalf of the former couple and in an email, the spokesman described it as a “joint statement from Robert S. Cohen, attorney for Rupert Murdoch, and Judy Poller, attorney for Jerry Hall,”

The statement read: “Jerry Hall and Rupert Murdoch have finalized their divorce. They remain good friends and wish each other the best for the future.”

At least this means that Rupert is still on the market and that’s good news for gold diggers with a strong stomach. I mean the job market for gold diggers is strapped as it is, but now there’s another billionaire ghoul available! Wow, President Joe Biden’s America really is fighting unemployment on all levels!
