Jerry Hall Filed For Divorce From Rupert Murdoch And Is Asking For Spousal Support
65-year-old Jerry Hall has officially filed for divorce from 91-year-old billionaire media ghoul Rupert Murdoch. This isn’t surprising since it was already reported that the true love between Jerry and Rupe was over. And People says that Jerry is the one who made the first legal move in ending her beautiful union with Rupe by filing for divorce on Friday. But you’ll be SURPRISED to hear that she is asking for spousal support. LOL, I mean, obviously! If she married a megalomaniac billionaire and didn’t ask for spousal support?! Sweetie, she would be the problem.
This is Rupert’s fourth divorce. He was married to Patricia Booker from 1956 to 1967, Anna Maria Torv from 1967 to 1999, Wendi Deng from 1999 to 2013. He has six children from the marriages. Jerry was with Mick Jagger for more than twenty years and has four children with him but the couple never married. Rupert and Jerry met in the summer of 2015 and were engaged less than a year later that following January. So if Rupert’s dating history keeps up, he’s probably going to meet and marry another golddigger woman within the next year or two. But for now, he’s dealing with his latest divorce and Jerry wants to get paid.
Hall, 65, filed in the Superior Court of California in L.A. County per court documents obtained by PEOPLE on Friday. She cited irreconcilable differences and is asking for spousal support.
She also does not want the court to be able to award support to her estranged husband. Hall is requesting Murdoch, 91, to pay her attorney’s fees.
In her filing, she says she is “unaware of the full nature and extent of all assets and debts, and will amend this Petition when the information has been ascertained.” The same holds true for community and quasi-community property…
A lawyer for Hall did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. It is not clear who represents Murdoch to comment on his behalf.
Hall’s filing comes after two sources familiar with the situation told The New York Times last month that Hall and Murdoch were divorcing. Those close to them were reportedly shocked about the breakup.
Radar says that Jerry and Rupert did sign a prenup but sources believe she’ll still walk away with millions upon millions. Variety mentions that during their marriage, Rupert brokered a huge deal with Disney. via Variety:

Murdoch is considered to be one of the leading forces in media and entertainment, known for his swashbuckling persona and embrace of conservative politics.
