At 12:01 AM on June 1st, it officially became “Hi Gay” month when corporations slather their logo in Pride flag drag to pander to the gays and get that pink dollar. Oh, to be a gay fly on the wall during a big corporation’s marketing meeting for Pride Month ideas because that shit is probably comedy gold wrapped in comedy gold. Case in point: Burger King Austria decided to celebrate Get That Pink Dollar Month with Pride Whoppers. No, it isn’t a Whopper that’s been dipped in vegetable rainbow dye. It’s a Whopper that comes with either two bottoms or two tops. Yes, two tops and two bottoms. The fuck kind of gay math is Burger King Austria doing?

And that’s solely because of Burger King Austria’s Pride Whopper! Burger King Austria announced on social media that for Pride Month, they are selling the Pride Whopper, which is either a Whopper with two top buns or a Whopper with two bottom buns. So I’m guessing a regular Whopper is vers.

Out Magazine translated the post, and say that the Pride Whopper isn’t a joke about two tops and two bottoms. The same type of bun is supposed to represent “same-sex” couples.
The Pride Whoppers come “with two matching buns for equal love and equal rights,” according to the post.
“We stand for the equal rights of all identities and sexual orientations,” the post continues. “A little twist to put a smile on your face and remind us to treat each other respectfully and peacefully. No matter who you are and who you love.”
Okay, but still, this may lead to gay dudes cruising Burger Kings in Austria and looking to see if a prospective trick is a top or a bottom based on what Pride Whopper they order. It’s the fast food capitalism version of the hanky code!
