Twitter has opened up #SwedenGate by getting into how Swedish people don’t offer food to houseguests. It all started when one Redditor said that they went to their Swedish friend’s house as a kid, and at dinnertime, they weren’t offered food and instead waited in their friend’s room as the family ate. Meanwhile, at my Salvadoran family parties, my mom and aunties would all make several plates for my little friend before saying, “Are you sure you have enough to eat? Here, take our fridge. It’s full of food. Let me grab a dolly and I’ll roll it to your mom’s car for you!” – Celebitchy
