Brendan Kelbie, the current reigning King of Stacking M&Ms!

Back in June, I gave a much-deserved HSOTD tribute to Will Cutbill, an extremely important human in history who reached the peak of achievements by mankind. Will caused nearly every human on the planet to bow down before his brilliance after he beat the Guinness World Record for the tallest stack of M&Ms by successfully stacking five M&Ms. Well, Will Cutbill had a good run at being one of the most talented humans on earth but that’s over now. Because Brendan Kelbie here has beat Will’s record by successfully stacking SIX M&Ms. So stop bowing down to Will Cutbill and bow down before the new King of Stacking M&Ms!

The Guinness World Record for the tallest stack of M&Ms was born in 2016 when Silvio Sabba of Italy created a tower of four M&Ms. That record was knocked down in June 2021 when Will Cutbill of the UK created a tower of five M&Ms. Later, Rocco Mercurio of Italy tied Will by successfully stacking five M&Ms. Well on October 14, 2021, 22-year-old Brendan Kelbie of Australia took them both down and rose up as the true M&M Whisperer by stacking six M&Ms. Unlike that strong tower of six M&Ms, you won’t be able to keep it together and will fall down from watching this momentous achievement!

I’m sure that an entire army of wannabe M&M tamers are working on beating Brendan’s record, and I would join them, but I have the patience of a drunk toddler and it’d be difficult for me to stack M&Ms when I keep eating them. And being the architect of a glorious M&M skyscraper might be Brendan Kelbie’s greatest achievement, but it’s not his only one. It’s his thirteenth Guinness World Record. Here are his other records:

Most drumstick flips in one minute: 98
Longest duration spinning a basketball on a pair of spectacles: 29.67 sec
Tallest tower of dice stacked on the back of the hand in 30 seconds (blindfolded): 13
Most dice stacked into a tower in 30 seconds (blindfolded): 20
Longest duration spinning a basketball on the nose: 9.57 sec
Longest duration to spin a fidget spinner on one toe: 6 min 52.28 sec
Longest time to spin a basketball on one finger while dribbling: 1 min 14.40 sec
Most basketball three point shots scored on NBA 2K9 in one minute: 29
Fastest time to flip five baseball caps on the head: 8.63 sec
Fastest time to build a 10 toilet roll pyramid: 3.49 sec
Fastest time to arrange six dice in numerical order whilst blindfolded: 13.40 sec
Fastest time to flip six water bottles (team of two): 13.65 sec

And something tells me that Brendan is also about to get the Guinness World Record for having the most Olympic medals. Because every Olympian who medaled at this past Winter Olympics is going to give their medal to Brendan since he has achieved much more than they ever could!
