The Sausage Drone That Helped Save A Stranded Pooch!

“Michael, you disgusting bitch, why are you using Dlisted to tell us about your weird sex kinks!” is something you may have thought of when looking at that pic. But that’s not a pic of some weird-looking flying mini dildo, it’s the flying sausage angel that helped rescuers save a dog who got stranded on a mud bank as the tide crept in. Sometimes wiener does a trick in and sometimes wiener saves us!

The Guardian says that Millie is a Jack Russell Terrier/Whippet mix who got away from her human, Emma Oakes, on January 13 while out and about in the town of Havant in Hampshire, England. Millie’s humans were frantically looking for her until they discovered that she was stuck on the mudflats and in danger of being taken out by the tide. The whole area busted out Mission: SAVE MILLIE! The police, firefighters, kayakers, and even the coast guard tried for two days to get 3-year-old Millie to go to a safer spot. But like my dog at 2 in the morning when my drunk ass is begging her to please piss so we can go inside, Millie was not cooperating. She was too scared to move and she stayed on that mudbank as the Grim Reaper started winking at her. If Millie was my dog, I would’ve suggested opening up a plastic bag, because whenever my dog hears the sound of a plastic bag opening, she thinks I’m opening up her treats and becomes Usain Bolt! But a drone pilot had a better idea.

They were using a drone to track Millie so they decided to attach a cooked sausage to a string and then attach that to the drone to lure Millie to safety.

“It was a crazy idea,” said Chris Taylor, the chair of the Denmead Drone Search and Rescue team. But they pressed ahead and after checking Civil Aviation Authority regulations, and the MTOW [maximum takeoff weight] of their machines, the rescuers calculated they could attach a single sausage to a drone.

Taylor said: “One of the local residents on the beach where we were flying from supplied us with the sausages – I think they were from Aldi. The woman cooked them up for us and we attached them with string.”

That ole’ drone wiener trick worked and Millie was reunited with her human. Here’s Millie thinking, “Okay, but where the fuck is that wiener you all lured me here with?

Emma says that like nearly every dog on earth, Millie loves food. And Millie’s also kind of timid because she was a rescue dog. But now Millie is safe at home where she’s resting after that life-threatening ordeal. Here’s a video of the rescue:

Oh, Millie, we’re twins. Because I too go chasing after a hot wiener on a string. How do you think my friends get me out of the house every now and again?
