Open Post: Hosted By The Thanksgiving Pizza

Macy’s Place Pizzeria in Buffalo, New York is known for its wacky, holiday-themed pizza stunts. For Halloween, they produced a sweet pizza covered in candy corn, chocolate, and gummy worms. For Cinco de Mayo they created the “Taco Pizza.” Now it’s Thanksgiving, and these mad scientists are selling the Macy’s Day Parade Pizza, topped with gravy, turkey, mashers, stuffing, corn, and cranberry drizzle. Thousands of Buffalo moms just breathed a giant sigh of relief; a delicious turkey dinner without all the pesky work!

Here’s the monstrosity on Twitter:

The pizzeria is also selling added gravy wings with mashed potatoes and cranberry dipping sauce:

It’s a real Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade… of disgusting-looking food, and online reaction seems to be mixed. One person actually ordered the pizza, and insists it was good:

Word on the street is the guys at Macy’s Place Pizzeria come up with their ideas while high, even going so far as to name many of their pizzas after strains of weed including: Sunset Haze Pizza (queso, steak, peppers, onion, steak sauce, onion frizzles), the Wake and Bake Pizza (pepperoni, waffle fries, tater tots, and jalapenos), and the Sativa Sunrise (BBQ chicken fingers, curly Q fries, jalapenos, and BBQ/honey drizzle).

Wow. A real who’s-who of “Food Destined To Give You Diarrhea.” Every Italian person who ever died in the history of the world is spinning in their graves. Mamma Mia!
