Parfums de Coeu’s Juice Bar Refreshee Sprays!

Parfums de Coeur is the highly-acclaimed fine French perfumery from Paris… Oh wait, that’s not true. Let me try this again. Parfums de Coeur is the American corporation from Darien, Connecticut that has taken many of us away with their Calgon line of luxurious drugstore bath products, and they are also one of the original masters of dupes thanks to their legendary line of nose-tricking stank sprays known as Designer Imposters. And in the 90s, PDC decided that the youngins’ needed a line of fine fragrances of their own and so they gave us the Juice Bar collection!

PDC’s Juice Bar Refreshee Sprays started terrorizing smelling holes in the late-90s. There were several scents including Cotton Candy, Gummi Bear (Blair Waldorf was the face of that one), Grapefruit Freesia, Teddy Bear, Vanilla Musk, Pink White Musk, Raspberry Pear, Lemonade, Blueberry Batter, and Long Island Iced Tea. Yes, Long Island Iced Tea. Oh, the 90s, a time when 12-year-old girls were going around smelling like Dina Lohan. I think I only smelled the Cotton Candy one and it was sweeter-smelling than Lucifer’s piss (read: Bath and Body Works’ Cucumber Melon body wash). And I think the scent stuck to my inner nose walls for years.

PDC really should have re-released their Juice Bar Refreshee Sprays at the very beginning of the pandemic. Because if you want to make a trick put on a mask really quick, just pull out a bottle of Juice Bar Cotton Candy Refreshee Spray. Although, it may be hard for them to put on a mask while chasing their nose after it jumped off their face from the sight of a Juice Bar Refreshee Spray.
