Fedya, the pussy from Russian with a perma-shocked face!
Fedya, an adorable cat who always looks like he just laid eyes on that picture of a topless Geraldo Rivera, is a beautifully unique puss from Russia, thanks to the fact that he’s permanently the feline community’s answer to SurprisedWhiteGuy.GIF.
Fedya lives with his human, Natalia Zhdanova, in the Russian city of Rostov. According to People, Natalia found Fedya down and out in the backyard of her house when he was only a few days old. With the help from her neighbor’s cat, Nurse Handsome, she nursed the stray puss back to health. But when he was a kitten, she noticed that he always had a shocked expression on his face, as though he can see Sarah Palin from his house. Although, Fedya’s perfectly healthy and happy, his “a bee just landed on mah nose!” face stayed the same.
She nursed the orphaned kitten to health and her neighbor’s cat, named Handsome, came over every day to help nurture the little pet.
“He was very weak and was dying. Handsome cleaned and licked Fedya and became like a father figure to him,” Zhdanova told SWNS. Gradually, Fedya gained strength and began to grow, but his face remained unchanged. The cause of the cat’s unusual expression is still unclear.
Zhdanova, who makes educational books for children in Rostov, Russia, said: “We’re not sure if it’s a genetic deformity or if he was dropped by his mum as a kitten.”
