Dog The Bounty Hunter Has Joined The Search For Brian Laundrie

Earlier this month Dog the Bounty Hunter got hitched to his sixth wife, Francie Frane, about two years after the death of Beth Chapman. Grief, a fake Dr. Oz proposal, wedding planning, and defending his use of the n-word kept Dog really busy, but now it’s time to get back to doing what he does best: hunting criminals! And who is currently the most hunted alleged criminal in all of America? Brian Laundrie, the primary suspect in the death of 22-year-old Gabby Petito whose body was recently found in Wyoming’s Teton National Forest after she went missing. In case you just got out from under a rock that didn’t have any WiFi access, here is a timeline of the crime.

Authorities, search teams, drones, divers, and bloodhounds are in their second week of scouring Florida’s Carlton Reserve (25,000 alligator-filled acres!). So far, no trace of Brian. Dog finally decided that enough was enough; it was time for a seasoned professional to track this scumbag down! Luckily, Dog was already in Florida on his honeymoon, so it didn’t take him long to show up at the Laundrie residence with an arrest warrant. He banged on the door for a couple of minutes (no one answered), chatted with the next-door neighbor, and eventually drove away. The hunt has officially begun:

Dog went on Fox News and said, via Global News)

“The reason I went to Mr. Laundrie (Brian’s father) is I carry a reputation with me. The reputation is, ‘He gives you a second chance. He’s gonna get you, but he gives you a second chance,’” Chapman said to Fox News. “I know what the victims feel like.”

Dog says he can relate to Gabby’s parents cuz he also lost his own daughter back in 2006. Barbara “Katy” Chapman was only 23 when she was killed in a car accident. He adds:

“The dad can still reach out to me, through social media,” the 64-year-old said. “Let’s get the kid captured alive. Alive.”

I’ve got a feeling that Brian’s parents likely won’t reach out to Dog. Especially after Brian’s mother, Roberta Laundrie, called 911 to report a wild Dog banging on their door.

Dog’s given himself a six-week time frame to find Brian. The deadline is Brian’s 24th birthday, which is mid-November. Dog set up his own anonymous tip line at (833)-TELL-DOG, and he says he’s already received a thousand leads. He surmises that an experienced outdoorsman like Brian is probably hiding in the wild, and his best guess is somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains.

During an interview with Fox 13, Dog theorized that Brian may have asphyxiated Gabby when he put his hand over her mouth to stop her from screaming during a fight. “Or,” Dog adds, “Did he do it worse?”:

Dog says that he’s pretty sure Brian Laundrie knows who he is; “probably one of my fans!” So that’ll be Dog’s advantage when he finally tracks down the maybe-killer. Brian will be so starstruck that he’ll completely freeze, allowing Dog to catch n’ cuff him. I swear, if Dog the Bounty Hunter is the one to find Brian Laundrie, we’re never gonna hear the end of it! AMURICA!!
