Lollipop and Sashimi, the scooter-riding duo of adorableness!
When the dog vs. cat war reaches a fever pitch and they all start brawling, you’ll find Lollipop and Sashimi riding off on their scooter into the sunset together. Because not only do Lollipop and Sashimi defy the laws of nature by being best friends, but they also defy the laws of everything by knowing how to operate a scooter. And it’s won them a Guinness World Record because there aren’t nearly enough Guinness World Records that make you say, “That’s really a damn Guinness World Record?!”
Lollipop is a 5-year-old Boston Terrier and Sashimi is a 7-year-old Bengal cat, and they live with their human in Ontario, Canada. Believe it or not, they didn’t just magically hop on a scooter together. Their human is professional animal trainer, Melissa Millett. Melissa got Lollipop at 12 weeks old and Sashimi at 10 months old. They grew up together and Melissa says that Sashimi will pretty much only train with Lollipop and Lollipop will only let Sashimi touch her toys. Michelle has 8 other dogs, and they all star on her Instagram page. But Lollipop and Sashimi are her dynamic scooter-riding duo!
Lollipop and Sashimi both enjoyed the scooter alone and it had never occurred to me that they would ride it together,” says Melissa, explaining how the pair came up with this trick all by themselves.
As for what their Guinness World Record is, they got one for the fastest 5m on a scooter by a dog and cat with a time of 4.37 seconds. So, sorry to the cat and dog teams out there who can only zoom on a scooter for 4.38 seconds, Lollipop and Sashimi beat your asses!

And no, that scooter-riding clip doesn’t cut off before the moment where Sashimi jumps off and lets Lollipop crash into a wall. I think.
