Rob Schneider Brought Up The Second Amendment While Going Off About The Coronavirus Vaccine
Rob Schneider has some opinions on the COVID-19 vaccine. I know that made you perk up since you’ve been waiting for the star of The Hot Chick to bestow his medical knowledge about the coronavirus vaccine. And in Rob’s opinion, people should prevent a vaccination and booster shot via the Second Amendment. Who needs a vaccine when you can shoot Coronavirus?
TMZ says that reports have come in that the vaccine may be wearing off after six months. But this CBC article denies that, saying that some stats from Israel found the Pfizer vaccine was only 64% effective in preventing mild disease and transmission after six months but still was 93% effective at preventing hospitalization and death. Also, most people affected were older and asymptomatic or had mild COVID. These infections are also related to the mutation of the Delta variant which is now the major killer variant. Pfizer has now tried to get a third booster shot emergency approved, but other experts say a booster should only be necessary if the Delta variant is causing hospitalizations or death for a lot of vaccinated people. There was a suggestion that older people may need a booster in the winter or fall months. But Rob is completely against a booster, and the vaccine itself.
Rob responded to talk of a booster by tweeting this:
Just say no…
And keep saying no…
Over Half of the US population is continuing to say no to this unapproved experimental gene therapy!

People were immediately confused as to why Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo suggested bringing guns to a virus fight:

Rob doubled down and said that the government was running a “fear campaign” to destroy the middle class and put “children’s lives at risk.” He also posted some quotes suggesting we’re living in The Handmaid’s Tale because a vaccine has been offered up freely to the citizens of America.
Our Government has told us they plan on going to OUR FRONT DOOR with this.
They have lied, had a 2 year fear campaign and lockdown, destroyed middle class household incomes, bankrupted untold thousands of businesses and are now putting children’s lives at risk. https://t.co/TWHdquR8Hv— Rob Schneider (@RobSchneider) July 10, 2021

Because TMZ loves to bring the messy, they brought up Rob’s anti-vax stance with Selma Blair, who has been very public with her battle with Multiple Sclerosis and is careful with her health. Selma was cute about it, saying it’s everyone’s choice but she got hers:
For starters, she notes this a minefield of an issue to discuss — and that she doesn’t want to write off or discount some may have about the COVID vaccine or others … as she notes that her own flesh and blood — her kid, no less — had a scare with one at birth. So, she gets it.
That said, Selma tells us she got her COVID vaccine … despite people jumping down her throat telling her she was especially at risk due to her condition. She still did it though, and doesn’t seem to regret the decision. Her parting sentiment seems to be … to each their own.
Here’s Selma giving her thoughts about Rob’s thoughts:
Selma is probably playing it safe with Rob because she’s not about to mess up her chances in landing the female lead in an inevitable sequel to The Animal. But she could’ve also kept it simple by saying, “Listen, I choose to get my medical advice from a Teletubby.”
