Open Post: Hosted By Emma Thompson Saying That She Didn’t Like Wearing Underwear While Filming “Cruella”

The new Disney villain origin story, Cruella, stars Emma Stone and Emma Thompson as rival fashionistas whose feud creates the iconic bitch, Cruella De Vil. Both Emmas were on the British talk show Lorraine and during that interview, Emma T. revealed that for her one of the most taxing processes of all the fashion was not the bodices, or corsets, or layers, or makeup; it was the underwear. Because Emma doesn’t wear any ever.

Cruella is out today on Disney+ (plus $30-fucking-dollars!) and in theaters, and Mark Heyes, the style expert on Lorraine, caught up with both Emmas on video chat and talked to them about their experiences as rival super bitches. Emma Thompson plays cruel fashion designer Baroness von Hellman, and she revealed that while the costumes were fabulous (they were designed by Jenny Beaven), the form-fitting underwear for her character was “like a torture item.” Was it Skims? Emma said, via People:

“I don’t like wearing underwear full stop. I stopped wearing underwear a long time ago. It’s not my scene. I don’t like comfortable underwear. I find comfortable underwear uncomfortable. So the underwear that was required to turn me into that shape was what can only be described as “industrial.” It was like the fourth bridge… I was saying earlier, it’s like squeezing a tube of toothpaste in the middle. If you squeeze it hard enough things will come up and go down and make the shapes. But it’s like you’re dealing with a Plasticine person. If you put Mr. Blobby into that corset, he would look good.”

Here’s the full interview, Emma Thompson gets into her panty-habits around 5:05:

It’s been said that no dogs are harmed in Cruella, but something was harmed during filming and that’s Emma’s pussy because she had to wear suffocating underwear!
