Sweet Pea, the puppy-loving cockatoo parrot!
Sweet Pea is a pet cockatoo parrot who lives with her human, Wendy Albright, in Idaho. And Wendy has turned Sweet Pea into a TikTok star (Note to Jimmy Fallon: THIS is the only kind of TikTok star who deserves mainstream success!) by regularly sharing videos of her cuteness on TikTok. But last month, Sweet Pea really became a TikTok star when a video of her loving on a puppy friend brought in millions upon millions of views. And obviously that puppy friend is loving the love from Sweet Pea. You can tell by the puppy making “this bitch…” eyes.
On March 23, Wendy posted a TikTok of Sweet Pea’s love at first sight moment. Sweet Pea massaged the puppy’s head while telling the puppy, “I love you.” The puppy seems thrilled about getting a head massage from a pair of claws while a stranger bitch declares her love for them. This looks a lot like my first dates, because I too, declare that I love them within seconds as they make plans in their head to ghost me. Awww, young love:

Wendy tells KTVB-7 that she believes the video has gotten so many views because the world is in a state of horribleness and people are craving a dose of sweet, pure love:
“I think it’s just that the world, in this time that we live in saw that video and just loved the unadulterated love of two animals just caring about each other,” Albright said.
Sweet Pea, who Albright said was found on Craigslist, often keeps the young pup company, even when the puppy is in his crate.
This cockatoo and puppy are now flocking together, like birds of a feather, so to speak.
While it does look like the puppy is as interested in Sweet Pea as I am in watching sports, the puppy eventually warmed up to Sweet Pea and they’re now friends. Every Pixar exec is looking at this video with $$$$ in their eyes:
