Open Post: Hosted By Ricki Lake’s Engagement!
Apparently, I’m a Ricki Lake fan, cuz, even though I haven’t thought of her in ages, my body did a full “Awwww!” when I read the news she got engaged. His name is Ross Burningham, he’s a lawyer, and they’ve been going out for about a year. 52-year-old Ricki broke the news on her Instagram, and referred to Ross as “her person.” Ow, owwww! Too sweet! Too sweet! Get the bitters!

Ricki also spoke to People about her new engagement:
“Ross and I literally pinch ourselves that we have found each other at this time in our lives”
“Both of us, newly empty-nesters, we feel as if we are kids again. We are filled with gratitude and joy for what is to come,” she says.
This will be Ricki’s third marriage. She has two sons, Milo, 23, and Owen, 19, with her first husband, Rob Sussman. Her second marriage to Christian Evans ended in divorce in 2015. Christian, who battled bipolar disorder, died by suicide two years later. Ricki paid tribute to him earlier this month in an Instagram post:
It looks like Ricki is officially joining the not-at-all exclusive “3 Marriages in Hollyweird Club.” JLo is president (but once she marries A-Rod she’s kicked out because four-marriagers aren’t allowed), Kim Kardashian is treasurer (since she loves money) and Charlie Sheen is secretary. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. When he’s high, dude can type 160 words a minute!
