Scott Disick And Amelia Hamlin’s Relationship Has Reached The “Instagram Official: Stories Only” Phase
It’s (Instagram Stories) official! 37-year-old Scott Disick’s 19-year-old girlfriend Amelia Gray Hamlin had to drink water with her Valentine’s Day dinner at an upscale Italian restaurant in Miami because it’s illegal to serve her alcohol. Isn’t it romantic? According to The Daily Mail, Scott, who “does not follow Amelia on social media and has never posted with her before,” took the cowards way of going Instagram Official by sharing photos of their Valentine’s weekend trip to Miami in his Stories. This way, Amelia’s parents Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin can still pretend it’s just a phase. A phase that now includes a New Year’s trip to Tulum, Mexico, a perpetual mid-life crisis haircut for him (platinum blond buzz cut), expensive jewelry for her (a gold Rolex), and a brand new Ferrari (also for him).
Amelia already sneaked a picture of Scott into her IG Stories over Thanksgiving, but this is Scott’s first time proving his fidelity and affection in such a public forum. I could have sworn Florida had a lot of cases of COVID-19 but it looks like business as usual! God, Floridians are so lucky! I wish they’d share their secret for vanquishing the virus with the rest of the world. Scott and Amelia were also spotted hitting the beach over the weekend and they both posted IG stories riding a speedboat, with Scott profoundly captioning his “Boat Life. Reason I love life.”
DM mail adds that in recent weeks, Scott has “made a real effort to blend his life with Amelia’s” by taking time to get to know her 22-year-old sister Delilah Belle Hamlin’s 26-year-old boyfriend Eyal Booker. A perfectly normal and totally rad way for a nearly 40-year-old father of three with a history of substance abuse to spend his free time. Eyal, incidentally, was a contestant on Love Island. DM adds of Scott:
From posting about boys dinners, to defending him on social media with regards to his [Eyal’s] former Love Island fling Megan Barton Hanson, he seems to have taken a vested interest in the people close to her [Ameila].
Reportedly not on board with the pair’s enormous age gap, her Real Housewives mother Lisa Rinna and dad Harry Hamlin had expressed concern in the fall, citing Scott’s previous ‘baggage’ as an issue.
‘She [Lisa] really does like Scott but both her and Harry don’t want someone that age with so much baggage to be with their baby girl, especially given Amelia’s own mental health issues,’ an insider told The Sun.
Hamlin has been in recovery for an eating disorder for the past couple years, while Scott has a more known track record with regards to substance abuse.
