Open Post: Hosted By NYC’s Hottest Roommate

January 28, 2021 / Posted by:

New York’s hottest roommate is Saverio Pescucci. Originally from Tuscany, Italy, Saverio the ballet dancer went viral last week after posting an ad on NYC’s Gypsy Housing Facebook group looking for a roommate. His post got 600 likes and more than 400 comments. Most of them had nothing to do with his search for housing; they were in response to the sexy photos he’d attached to the listing.

Saverio claims his photos weren’t a thirst trap, via The New York Post:

“I saw a lot of people … were posting pictures of themselves, like selfies and casual photos, to show that they’re not sociopaths or what kind of lifestyle they have,” Pescucci, 29, told The Post. “I did the same [but] I was not imagining that it would turn into an episode of ‘The Bachelor.’ “

Suuure. Saverio, who described himself as “super chill, friendly, gay [and] Covid responsible”, said he wasn’t uncomfortable with all the fawning comment and DMs, but was definitely overwhelmed:

“[The] hot ones are never straight,” said one woman, while another chimed in to say, “You’re cute … that’s all I have to offer you. A compliment.” Comments from men included, “You won’t be paying rent for too long once you get here … [you’re] f–king hot,” and “I don’t have a room, but I have space in my heart.”

Here are pics of the Italian hunk, who’s lived in NYC for six years:

Salverio eventually found a room in a 3 bedroom in Williamsburg. Ironically, he didn’t snag it through his post, it was from another ad on the Facebook group.

Well, good for Salverio and good for hot people, but why on Earth would you want a roommate that attractive? It’s too much pressure! Your home is where you’re allowed to veg out in your true form. Where you don’t need to do your hair or put on makeup or wear a bra or shower for weeks on end or brush your teeth or ever get out of bed or expend precious energy opening your eyes. You know, your “happy” place!
